02 / ABOUT THIS SCAN

From physical to digital.

This viewer uses your actual sculpture scan. Explore the antlers, surface detail, and silhouette from every side. Clay uses a darker tone based on the original sculpture photo. Brown patinated bronze is inspired by the Take the Field sculpture. Bronze, gold, and silver are simulated finish previews.

Optimized copies are used for browser review. The original STL is preserved. The sculpture uses the supplied 12-inch hoof-to-back-hump height; life size uses 66 inches. Both use the same scan landmarks, excluding the base and antlers from the height measurement.

Explore at your own pace.

Rotate: drag with your mouse or one finger.
Zoom: scroll or pinch with two fingers.
Pan: right-drag or move two fingers.
Full screen: tap the expand icon for an immersive view.
Reset: select Reset view or press R.
Auto-rotate: toggle it on, or press Space while the viewer is focused.

Choose a viewpoint, change the display material, or turn on wireframe to inspect the scan. “Save this view” downloads a PNG of the current angle.

Side by side shows sculpture size on the left and life size on the right, with one shared camera and floor grid. Use the size buttons to inspect either sculpture alone. The base and antlers are excluded from that measurement. The camera fits both models together; life size is not actual size on your screen. Display scale uses the supplied heights and estimated landmarks on the scan. The STL has no color texture. Browser meshes are simplified for performance. This is a scan review, not a final manufacturing approval.
